Carved in wood, Peruvian man in hand-painted colorful stocking cap shows fabulous detailing on amazing South American wood in a hand-tooled frame.  Piece measures 15 3/4 in x 12 in.
Top loop as well as string on back for hanging.
Wonderful patina showing some paint fading and wearing off, some surface dirt.  A stunning bas-relief of this strong profile of Peruvian man.
Likely 1940's-1950's.
Weighs in at 1 lb. 11 oz.
