TWO VINTAGE SOUVENIR DRINKING GLASSES -
WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA - GOVERNORS PALACE -
THE CAPITOL
Two vintage souvenir drinking glasses with a 1950's vibe -
Williamsburg, Virginia - both glasses measure approx. 6.25"H,
3" diameter at mouth opening
"The Capitol"-- Gold/yellow filigree design
at top and bottom of
glass--stylized image of The Capitol
building and horse and
carriage in white
"The Governor's Palace"--Pink filigree design at top and bottom
of glass--stylized image of the Governor's Palace building and
horse and carriage in white
Both glasses are in very good vintage condition - neither glass looks
as though it saw much use - both glasses contain some scratches/scuffs
which appear to be more from storage than usage - after a careful
examination of both glasses, we could only find a very minor amount
of paint loss in the pink filigree design at the top of "The Governor's
Palace" glass and even that is not obvious--there may be additional
paint loss but it is certainly not obvious
