Description

Japanese bronze okimono in a fighting pose with his pronged yari and helmet ornament intact.
There is slight wear on the gilt ornaments on the base, but otherwise in very good condition.
From an estate, it was purchased in 1972 by a private owner.
Natural burnished bronze finish with black, gilt, and gray-green base.
Note detail and large bronze base. Not from China.
Masterfully crafted.  Few in circulation - a rare find.
