Description

A very early antique olla bowl from the Shipibo culture of Amazonian Peru, possibly late 19th century. It is 11" in diameter at the waist by 8 1/2" tall. It has the traditional maze-like decoration, brown on white with red accents. There are no structural issues, no chips, or hairlines. There is moderate soiling overall, with some roughness and a spot of firing stain in the glaze at the waist, and some minor chipping in the bottom rim. The form is a bit cock-eyed, as is common in earlier pots. It will be shipped double-boxed.

Payment as per eBay instructions, is by PayPal only, unless it is otherwise necessary that another method be chosen.
Shipping
Shipping charges are for shipping only.  There is no handling fee. In most cases USPS will be chosen. All fragile items will be double boxed, which, in the case of larger items, might result in the shipper charging a fee for an oversized package.  Books will be mailed Media rate in the US, unless otherwise requested.
