    Being offered here is a finely engraved Peruvian Gourd with Indian domestic scenes including farming, animal husbandry, family life, music playing, and wild animals to include snakes, cats and birds (see photos.)  This type of scrimshaw is characteristic or early 20th Century pieces.
    H=3 inches, W=2 1/2 inches.
    Condition is used but excellent with no damage scratching or cracks. No signature visible.
