Hand Carved Gourd - "Historia: El Tejido de Una Manta" - Peru

Description

This Native Peruvian folk art depicts the history of the development of the process of weaving blankets.  It is titled "Historia: El Tejido De Una Manta".  Scenes depicting the evolution of the process are carved into the surface of the gourd and are numbered sequentially as you rotate the gourd.
The gourd measures approximately 5 inches tall and approximately 3 inches in diameter.
The gourd, etching, and painting are all in excellent condition.  (Rated 9.6 on a 10 point scale by a Certified Quality Engineer)
