Pair Vintage FCA Peru Pottery Plates Hand Painted Glazed Peruvian Art Large 12"

Description

Up for your consideration is a lovely set of 2 vintage hand made Peruvian Pottery Plates by FCA.  Both decorative pieces are hand painted and nicely glazed by FCA of Peru, ca. 1950's.  I believe each plate to be portraying a fertility god.  These collector plates with their rich colors would greatly brighten up any room!  They each come with silver plate hangers (with springs), so they are ready to be displayed!
Each plate measures a large 12" in diameter and overall they are both in great condition.  Referring to the 1st photo, the plate on the left has a small surface crack near the top rim as well as a pinhole in the center from the manufacturing process.  The other plate (on the right) has a small chip on the back side and a pinhole as well on the rim.  Please see all photos for these details.  Each one is signed "FCA Peru" on the bottom.
FCA Pottery has been closed for many years.  The native workers used to sit on the factory floor painting and glazing each piece, creating one of a kind works of art.
