Toronto Police TPS Antique Brass Snake Belt Buckle, Pouch & Attachments

Description

This is a beautiful antique brass two-headed snake belt buckle, pouch and attachments from a Toronto policeman's belt circa 1900. A picture showing the belt around the waist of one of Toronto's finest is provided in authentication of the buckle and gear. The buckle and attachments can easily be placed on a new belt. The leather pouch, whose purpose is unknown, needs 4 rivets. This is a special item whether as a keepsake, conversation piece, or both. A buckle identical to this one is in the Toronto Police museum.
