Condition: Some minor age wear, with rub & fade marks on sides & edges. Overall in good condition, considering age, and as originally acquired. Spout a bit off center. Pottery was hardened via open fire, so the rustic appearance is in large part due to this process. Black patches are from the open fire manufacturing process.

Unique and very unusual Vintage Shipibo Conibo pottery Pitcher. From Private Collection. Original Owner and acquired in the Ucayali Amazon Region of Peru, S.A. sometime in the 50's or 60's. Beautiful hand crafted. Some minor age wear, but overall in good condition and as originally acquired. Pottery was hardened via open fire and glaze shine is from a natural rainforest tree resin.
