    Description

Peruvian Arpillera folk art tapestry reads Cosecha De Tunas translated means "Harvest of the Prickly Pears" Each 3 D figure is represented doing their various jobs while the Prickly Pear harvest is going on. They are holding bags or rugs and doing various chores. The tapestry measures 19 inches by 18 1/2 inches. There is a dark spot on the duck pond and a dark spot on the back. (see Pictures) the upper right corner where there is a yarn hanger has pulled a way from the tapestry and needs a small repair. The original sticker is still on the back that reads Made in Peru. I don't know the age of this piece but picked it up at an estate sale that was for a military family that lived all over the world. If you have any questions please feel free to message us.
