Here is a Vintage Peruvian Carved Gourd, Showing a "Story Telling" Design Motif of Musicians + Dancers, possibly a Harvest Festival, Made in Peru and Created using
Traditional Hand Carved Techniques.
This is a remarkably interesting and well-crafted carved gourd. It measures approx. 5" tall x 6.5" diameter, showing small areas of fading or natural gourd imperfections, as is not unusual for these old gourds, as shown in the listing photos. It is
overall very well preserved and the design work is very impressive, as you can see. It is very reasonably priced, as well.
