Description

This is an incredible vintage hand woven wool tapestry from Peru. Vibrant Colors.   It features a farmer with a snake and animals of the air, land, and sea including a llama, vulture flying above, and swans in the lake nearby. The weaving is done in a rustic style and made with chunky, minimally processed wool (unsure of the type of wool). Piece purchased from the estate of a world traveler.

Measurements:
40" long (not including fringe) x 25" wide.
Condition:
There is a worn area in the top where the loom threads have broken - see photo. The fringe is in "rustic" as-is condition. No tears or odors.
